시계 속에 갇힌 시간은 우리에게 아무 의미가 없다. 시간이 작은 바퀴에 의해 째깍거리며 가는 한 시간은 죽은 것이다. 우리의 의식 속에서 시계가 멈출 때 시간은 살아난다.
